Born and raised in Canberra, Australia, Annika Romeyn is a freelance illustrator with a passion for book illustration. Always curious about the world around her, Annika spent her nineteenth birthday examining clouds on a long journey across the Pacific Ocean. Armed with two suitcases and an open mind, Annika began her illustration studies in Baltimore, U.S.A., at Morgan State University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude in May 2009. Annika is also fortunate to have spent time studying at the Maryland Institute College of Art, and the Illustration Academy and has enjoyed the opportunity to teach family art activities at the Baltimore Museum of Art. Annika's clients include CENTERSTAGE, P. W. Feats, The Baltimore Museum of Art, the Baltimore Freedom Academy and Theatre Morgan. Annika's work has been recognized by the Society of Illustrators, New York (Student Exhibiton 2009).
